Hoot & Fox is a cosy logic puzzle about owls and foxes, played on a simple grid with no luck and no chance — just deduction.

Fill every cell with an owl or a fox so each row and column balances, and no three of the same animal sit together. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and every step can be reasoned out — no guessing required.

Hoot & Fox works everywhere, always: on a plane, underground, at a bus stop. Only the Daily leaderboard and league need a connection — everything else works with no wifi at all, forever.

There's no timer forced on you, no shouting, no frantic animations. Turn on Zen mode to remove hearts altogether and just enjoy the puzzle. Colourblind-friendly palettes, large cells with pinch-to-zoom, and keyboard controls on iPad are built in.

Hoot & Fox is free to play, supported by optional ads you can remove entirely with a single one-time purchase. Optional acorn packs are available if you'd like more acorns sooner — no subscriptions, ever.
