Fairways

Privacy Policy

Fairways: Golf Club Manager · last updated 17 October 2026

Fairways does not collect any personal information about you, and it does not require an account. Unless you choose to share anonymous statistics (see below), the developer receives nothing from the app.

Your saved clubs and settings

Your settings (such as sound levels and graphics quality) are saved on your device. Your saved clubs are saved on your device too, and, if you're signed in to iCloud on your iPad, in Fairways' own folder in your iCloud account, so they follow you to another iPad and survive a reinstall. That copy is held by Apple in your iCloud account under Apple's privacy policy; the developer can't see or reach it. You can turn it off for Fairways in iOS Settings › [your name] › iCloud. None of this is ever sent to the developer or anyone else.

Anonymous statistics (only if you agree)

When you first open Fairways it asks whether you'd like to help improve the game by sharing anonymous statistics. It's off unless you tap Share. If you tap No thanks, nothing is sent.

If you choose Share, the game sends:

It never sends your name, your clubs' names, anything you type, your location, contacts, Game Center or Apple ID, or any advertising identifier. The random ID isn't linked to you or your device: the game makes a new one whenever you turn sharing back on. The statistics are not used for tracking or advertising and are never sold or shared with anyone.

The statistics are received by the developer's own small service hosted on Cloudflare, which does not store IP addresses. Individual events are kept for 90 days; after that only daily totals are kept, with no ID in them.

You can turn it off at any time in Fairways: Settings › Game › Share anonymous stats. Turning it off stops sending straight away and deletes anything still waiting on your device.

Advertising and tracking

Fairways has no ads and no tracking of any kind. It contains no third-party advertising or analytics code.

Apple's crash reports

Separately, if you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements, Apple may send the developer anonymous crash reports. This is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, and you can turn it off at any time in that setting.

Children

Fairways does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The anonymous statistics described above contain nothing about the person playing.

Changes

If a future version changes any of this, this page will be updated before that version is released.
